water heater
Compact and advanced Hot Water Boiler with three versatile heating options. Monitorable and controllable via Autoterm Boiler Control panel.
Capacity: 7 liters
Available power configurations:2
Dimensions: 419×270×272mm
Application: Trucks, Buses, Motorhomes, Boats/Yachts, Off-Highway
Tailored for installations where space is a premium commodity, the AUTOTERM combiBOIL 7L is capable of heating up and storing 7 liters of hot water, which is usually enough for two adults to take consecutive showers.
Provides both on-land and marine vehicles with a constant hot water flow, allowing to travel, without having to worry about the comfort of hot showers or warm domestic water.
It seamlessly integrates with all AUTOTERM installations, making it an easy upgrade for current AUTOTERM users, as well as works independently, powered by electricity.
For brand new installations we suggest using the Domestic water kit (AT7-0018-CB) for optimal performance. If installing the boiler in an existing system, keep in mind that the system pressure is not allowed to exceed 1.5 bar. If it does, make sure to use a Pressure reducer (AT7-0006-FF0) to avoid leaks or damage to the water system components.
To connect the combiBOIL to an AUTOTERM Air 2D heater, use the Air ducting reduction adapter (Assy: AT2-0006-AA0).
Unlock all the features with Comfort Boiler Control:
- Displaying water temperature in real-time
- Target water temperature is adjustable from 50-75°C
- Water heating hysteresis is adjustable 5-20°C from the target temperature
- Turning off the heating when the water temperature reaches 78°C
- Frost protection (when the water temperature drops to 2°C, the heater will automatically heat the water to +15°C and air to +7°C, protecting the boiler from freezing)
NOTE: Autoterm Comfort Control and Autoterm Comfort Boiler Control differ in hardware and software. The standard Comfort Control cannot be updated to the boiler monitoring functions.
IMPORTANT:
For both 12V (DC) and 24V (DC) versions please bear in mind: due to space constraints, there is no thermostat function or safety shutdown integrated into the heating element. Shutdown at the desired target temperature or overheating should be implemented externally (e.g., with included external thermostat module). However – for 120V (AC) and 230V (AC) versions: the maximum heating temperature can be set using the rotary knob under the black protective cap. The shutdown temperature of 0 to 65°C can be set. The hysteresis is fixed (at approximately 9C). An internal additional safety switch will shut power supply off in case of malfunction – independently and no later than at 90°C.
