Warranty

To ensure an outstanding customer experience, we provide a global 2-year warranty on all heaters, with the option to extend it to 3 years when the installation is performed or verified by an Autoterm-certified service center.

AUTOTERM CERTIFIED SERVICES

All replacement parts are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for six months from the date of sale, or for the remaining term of the heater’s original warranty – whichever is longer. Proof of purchase must be submitted with the warranty claim.

The warranty terms expire under reaching one of the following conditions:

  • air heater was used for more than 2000 working hours;
  • liquid pre-heaters was used for more than 1000 working hours;

The purpose of the Autoterm warranty is to protect the original end user of the heater against defects and to provide free repair or replacement of defective parts as outlined herein.

The warranty does not apply to defects resulting from the following:

  • Improper installation that does not comply with the valid, supplied installation instructions or approved OEM applications.
  • Force majeure events, including lightning strikes, fire, flood, voltage fluctuations, or accidents.
  • Damage incurred during transportation.
  • Improper operation, storage, or handling.
  • Repairs or adjustments performed by organizations not authorized by AUTOTERM LLC to install or carry out warranty repairs.
  • Unauthorized repairs or the use of spare parts not approved by the original manufacturer.
  • Use of incorrect voltage.
  • Heater failure caused by contamination or impurities in the combustion chamber.
  • Normal wear of consumable parts – filters, gaskets, glow plug screens, and fuses are not covered by the warranty.

Although the warranty is granted to the original end user, it is administered and serviced exclusively through an authorized Autoterm LLC dealer in accordance with the warranty terms.

For warranty claims, the customer may contact any official Autoterm LLC partner or service center. The warranty covers manufacturer’s defects only and does not apply if the part has been incorrectly or unprofessionally installed or used, if poor-quality fuel has been used, or if the failure results from any intentional or unintentional action or misuse by the buyer or user.

Returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging.

You may exercise the right to return an order within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery. To avoid any ambiguity, please verify upon receipt that the product fully matches the ordered item and is free from damage.

We will refund the amount paid for the product within 5 working days from the date the returned order is received. If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, please observe the following recommendations:

  • Inspect the product upon receipt and do not use the heater or spare parts if they do not meet your expectations or the order specifications.
  • Keep the product in its original packaging and retain all components and accessories in their original configuration.

To return the goods, you must submit a written declaration of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the item, using our contact form. The declaration must include the order number, the buyer’s full name, and the order details. We will respond within two business days with a confirmation email containing the return shipping address.

Rules for Return of Goods and Refund

We will refund an online order subject to the following conditions:

  • The products are returned in the same condition in which they were delivered.
  • The products are returned no later than 21 days from the date of delivery. If this period is exceeded, we reserve the right to refuse the return, and the shipment will be sent back to the sender.
  • The purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs, except where the return results from non-compliance with the order, such as delivery of an incorrect or defective product.
  • All refunds are processed in full compliance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, without limitation.
